Amid a tranquil February to early March stretch, Calhoun County, Alabama, experienced a troubling surge in property crimes, prompting a thorough investigation by the vigilant members of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office. Among the reported incidents, a disheartening occurrence unfolded at the Chevron station situated at 30 Al HWY 204 in Wellington, Alabama.

During this period, two distinct U-Haul trailers vanished without a trace, leaving behind a trail of uncertainty and frustration. The first missing trailer, measuring 5’X8′, donned a Florida license plate marked “GFV797,” while the second, characterized by its ramp design, sported a Tennessee tag labeled “6101trl.”

These brazen acts of theft strike at the heart of our community, causing concern among residents and business owners alike. The Sheriff’s Office has since intensified its efforts to apprehend the perpetrators and restore a sense of security to the affected areas.
